1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They allow the website to work properly, remember your preferences or, in the case of third-party services, collect information about how you use them.

2. Who is responsible for this website?

The person responsible for this website is Elvira Isasi Loma Ossorio (Alternative House). For any question about this policy you can write to infoalternativehouse@gmail.com. More information about how we process your personal data is available in our Privacy Policy.

3. Cookies used on this website

Own technical cookies (strictly necessary)

  • pll_language (Polylang): stores the language you have chosen so the website is shown in that language. Duration: 1 year.
  • wordpress_*, wordpress_logged_in_*, wp-settings-* (WordPress): only set for administrators who log in to manage the website. Duration: session or up to 1 year.

These cookies are necessary for the website to work and do not require your consent.

Third-party cookies

  • Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd.): some pages include embedded maps showing where our accommodation is located. When a map loads, Google may set its own cookies (for example NID) to remember preferences, measure usage and, where applicable, personalise advertising. More information in the Google cookie policy. Maps are only loaded after you accept cookies in the consent banner.

The fonts used on this website are hosted on our own server, so no data is sent to Google Fonts.

The links to Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp do not set cookies on this website; those platforms only apply their own policies if you click on them and visit their services.

This website does not use its own analytics or advertising cookies.
